This year's show is to be held again at Shepherd's Gate Farm, Shepherd's Hill,
Coleman's Hatch (opposite Church) on Saturday
26th July 2008 and opens at 12.30-5.00.
The admission fee is still only £2 for adults, children under 16 are free and
there is plenty of free parking.
The Flower show in the marquee will include
flowers, vegetables, cookery & produce, crafts, photography, wine and
children's classes. This year the theme is "Winnie the Pooh & Friends".
Free Schedules can be collected from Bishops and Dickson & Church in Forest
Row, and also Casablanca, Central Garage and Hartfield Stores or phone 01342
822975. This year we have a new cup donated by Olive Markham's family in her
memory and it will be presented to the first prize winner of "A Photograph
taken on Ashdown Forest".
The FANCY
DRESS theme is "Winnie the Pooh
& Friends" and will be judged at 2.15 by Rondo the Clown who will also
entertain the children with sports and Punch & Judy etc. There will be a
large children's tent with games, face-painting, ice-creams and orange squash.
The COMPANION
DOG SHOW starts at 2.00 with pedigree & fun classes. There will also be
a gymnastic display and static owls display.
There will be many STALLS including White Elephant, Nearly New, Plants, Books, along
with other commercial stalls. To book a
stall, or if you have any bric-a-brac, nearly new, books etc. or would like to

on 01892 770496. We also have a wonderful RAFFLE
which will be drawn at 4.00pm, followed by prize-giving.
The TUG
OF WAR needs teams of eight, the entry fee being £5 per team which includes
a free pint of Larkins Beer for each entrant, with the residue of the barrel going

There will be REFRESHMENTS including a Beer Tent with
BBQ, Tea Tent with home-made cakes & W.I. stall selling home-made cakes
plus an ice cream stall.
The DANCE
after the show is to be held in the Marquee, starting at 8.00 - midnight,
featuring The Jam Band. There will
be a bar and BBQ. Tickets are £12 (admission only). To apply for tickets,
